Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Question: When can we register for the reunion events?

Answer: Event registration will begin in spring 2025 on the Class of 1975 Registration Site. Credit card refund policy restricts earlier registration. The Registration Site will describe the payment and refund processes and policies.

Question: Will we have training for Company Representatives for reviewing and validating classmate and other information in the Registration Site?

Answer: Yes. We will schedule training in early spring 2025.

Question: When can I check-in for the reunion? What will I receive during the check-in?

Answer: We will have reunion check-in on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; see the reunion schedule for the locations and times. Each registrant will receive a check-in bag with an ID, authorization for registered events, and SWAG.

Question: What is the cost of the Welcome/Cocktail Party, Class Dinner, football game, and Tailgate?

Answer: We will know the event costs in early 2025, which we will post on this site. Current football game tickets are $50 and $35 (standing room); these prices may increase for 2025.

Question: Will I need a ticket for the football game to attend the Tailgate?

Answer: Yes. The Tailgate location is inside the stadium so everyone will need a ticket to the football game to attend the Tailgate.

Question: Can I sit with members of my company at the football game?

Answer: Yes. We will specify the process for ordering football game tickets in an updated posting.

Question: What hotels are in the Annapolis area?

Answer: Use the following link for all hotels in the Annapolis area including Bowie and Kent Island. [Note to Andy: I attached a .pdf version with the hotel list. Please add link to it here.]

Question: Did the class reserve block rooms at any hotel?

Answer: No. Some classmates have reserved blocks of rooms in hotels for companymates, friends, and family. Typically, a block of rooms requires a commitment to book at least 10 rooms. All rooms must be paid for even if some are not used or reserved. Call a hotel’s sales staff, not the reservation desk, for block room questions.

Question: Is there a host hotel for the reunion.

Answer: No.

Question: Is there bus transportation?

Answer: Yes, as noted below.

  • Thursday: To/from stadium and Fluegel Hall. To/from Westin and Fluegel Hall.
  • Friday: To/from stadium and Yard. To/from Westin and Yard. Yard events and dinner.
  • Saturday: To/from stadium and Westin and a park-and ride (Riva Road).

There are parking garages near the Westin, including the Westin itself. Parking at the stadium Thursday and Friday will cost $10; it is much more expensive – and limited – on Saturday and must be purchased in advance.

Question: What assistance will you provide for people with disabilities or mobility issues?

Answer: We will have ADA assistance at all venues, as needed. Classmates can request assistance for themselves or family members during the registration process. A reunion committee member will follow-up to discuss specific requirements. Please contact Devon Clouse, devon@annapolis.events, for questions or additional information.

Question: What identification do I need to gain access to the Yard?

Answer: Anyone 18 years of age or older must present a valid, unexpired original REAL ID Act compliant U.S. government photo ID card (e.g., state issued driver’s license or identification card); or an original, unexpired passport to enter USNA grounds.

Question: Can I park in The Yard?

Answer: Only persons with a valid DOD ID may bring their vehicle onto the yard. Getting your vehicle onto, and parking in, the Yard is very difficult, given that this is a busy weekend and that there are various construction projects underway. Bus transportation provided by the class is highly recommended.
